MacKenzie Wardell

MacKenzie is a recent graduate from Rhode Island School of Design, where she received her MAT to achieve her dream career of becoming a public school art educator. 

 

MShe grew up in Vermont and has been greatly inspired by the natural world around her. She mostly draws and paints to share her curiosity and interest with plants, weather and architecture. In her most recent project, Discovering Wonders and Tragedies, she exemplified her concern with pollution and the treatment of the planet, something she will continue to explore.

This is her dog Baby. Baby is always by MacKenzie's side when she explores the world and gets inspired to create. Looks ferocious but she's a wonderful companion!
