About MacKenzie
MacKenzie is a recent graduate from Rhode Island School of Design, where she received her MAT to begin her career as a public school art educator. As a teacher she builds on the creative potential of every child through care and play. She also brings in an environmentally aware curriculum to her classroom.
She grew up in Vermont and has been greatly inspired by the wonderful natural world around her. She mostly draws and collages to share her curiosity and interest with plants and weather. And in her most recent work she exemplified her concern with pollution and the treatment of the planet, something she will continue to explore.
This is her dog Baby. Baby is always by MacKenzie's side when she explores the world and gets inspired to create. Looks ferocious but she's a sweetheart!
